The MegaShort (-3X) NASDAQ-100® Daily Leveraged Alternative ETF seeks to replicate three times inverse (-3X) of the daily performance of the NASDAQ-100® Index, which is calculated in U.S. dollars, before fees and expenses. QQQD does not hedge its currency exposure to the U.S. dollar.
The NASDAQ-100® Index includes 100 of the largest domestic and international non-financial companies listed on The Nasdaq Stock Market based on market capitalization. The Index reflects companies across major industry groups including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, retail/wholesale trade and biotechnology.
This ETF is an alternative mutual fund, as such, QQQD is permitted to invest in asset classes or use investment strategies that are not permitted for other types of mutual funds.
This ETF is highly speculative. QQQD uses a significant amount of leverage which magnifies gains and losses. It is intended for use in daily or short-term trading strategies by very knowledgeable, sophisticated investors. If you hold this ETF for more than one day, your return could vary considerably from the ETF's daily target return. For example, you could lose your entire investment in one day if the underlying index of the ETF experiences a single-day price movement that is greater than 33%. The negative effect of compounding on returns is more pronounced when combined with leverage and daily rebalancing involatile markets. QQQD is not suitable for investors who do not intend to actively monitor and manage their investments.

All ETFs, including those that seek to track an index are subject to risk, including the possible loss of principal. Diversification does not ensure a profit or protect against a loss in a declining market. While the LongPoint ETFs are designed to be as diversified as the original indices they seek to track and may provide greater diversification than an individual investor may achieve independently, any given ETF may not be a diversified investment.
